There will be intermittent closures on Beach Drive from the Maryland line to the intersection with the Rock Creek and Potomac Parkway. Closures will be on weekdays, 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Federal law continues to prohibit firearms in federal facilities in this park. Those federal facilities are marked with signs at public entrances. Thus firearms are prohibited at Carter Barron Amphitheater and Box Office, Center for Urban Ecology, Georgetown Waterfront Office, Klingle Mansion and Outer Buildings 1&2, Meridian Hill Lodge House, Nebraska House Park Housing 1&2, Old Stone House, Peirce Mill Barn, Rock Creek Maintenance Facility, Rock Creek Nature Center.
