It's Tea Time! Join us on April 20, 2013 from 12-4p.m. for the Women's History Day & Tea where Herbologist Sara Christianson will be introducing Major Muskrat's favorite new tea and the new River Raisin Blend.

Journey back in time 200 years to old Frenchtown, relax and enjoy an elegant sit down tea all the while immersing yourself in the culture of the French inhabitants.  See the heroic and unforgettable stories of the Frenchtown women unfold before your eyes as the Monroe County Community Players reenact scenes from the battle.

Learn about the "Women on the Raisin" as Author MaryEllen Van Wasshenova talks about the plight of the inhabitants.  A book signing will follow.

Horticulturist and Master Gardner Cheri Maitland will speak on the native plants of Frenchtown and the gardening methods of the time period.  There will also be Old World craft demonstrations throughout the day.  Truly a unique event you do not want to miss!  There is no fee and no reservations are required.
