Workshops take place in the fall and summer and may satisfy school district requirements for developmental training. Park Rangers familiarize teachers with the field trip site and demonstrate the activities planned for students. Learn about the many resources at Richmond National Battlefield Park and the wide variety of programs that are obtainable by simply making a reservation. Learn what is expected of teachers, rangers, students, and chaperons on field trips. Receive teacher guides that provide information for completing pre-visit and post-visit activities. These workshops prepare teachers and ensure that their students get the most out of the field trip to Richmond National Battlefield Park.

Watch this site for upcoming workshops or call 804-771-2018 for more information.
