The men and women of the park demonstrate their commitment to each other on a daily basis.  The park sponsored on employee to become an Operational Leadership trainer and several parks in Texas and Oklahoma have benefitted his training.  The park's Combined Management Steering Committee is employee driven and meets monthly to discuss issues related to safety & health as well as environmental issues.  The GAR process, outlined in Operational Leadership, is used in decision making and planning for special events and significant tasks in the park.  Employee groups meet regularly to discuss safety issues and safe approaches to their work.
