Catoctin Mountain Park
Catoctin Mountain Park covers nearly 6,000 acres in the mountains of western Maryland. Since settlers first arrived in the area in the 1740s, the area of the park has seen subsistence and commercial farming, industry, hunting, and military use during both the Civil War and World War II.
