| Victorious in conflicts from the American Revolution to
World War II, segregated American soldiers, sailors and aviators answered
the call to duty. As refugees from American society, they served as de
facto mercenaries and examples of courage and honor in these conflicts.
In their quest for freedom they they struggled to help make America's principles
of democracy ring true. Today, descendents of these brave men and women
keep their legacy alive. |
