Rescheduled Release of Draft Special Resource Study Copyright 2001 John Sorensen

National Park Service Special Resource Study of Fort Hunter Liggett

accelerated from normal study schedules to meet the demands of the pre-existing
BRAC (Base Realignment and Closure Commission) closure date of July
13, 2001. However, it was not possible to hold to the accelerated schedule
due to numerous challenges in the study process, changes in the inventory
of excess buildings available to the NPS, and other factors.
If you receive this
newsletter by mail from the NPS, you are on our mailing list and will
receive a copy of the draft study and notification of public meetings
and other opportunities to comment on the study. If you would like
