This website was created by Aja Sorensen, Museum Studies Graduate Student at San Francisco State University, as her Master's Degree Creative Work Project. Aja started as an intern at the Rosie the Riveter/World War II National Homefront National Historical Park in the Fall of 2004. She would like to thank everyone listed below for their guidance and advice as she developed this website, her Museum Studies colleagues for their support, her family for their love and support, her boyfriend for listening to her talk about nothing but this website for months, her friends for understanding why she disappeared, all the people who have donated their memories and memorabilia to the park, and especially to all the women who worked during World War II for their strength and courage during a difficult time.
