We want you to have a safe and enjoyable visit to Pu'ukohola Heiau National Historic Site. As we navigate through the pandemic, parks are one of the few outdoor recreational opportunities available during this time to provide the public with important physical, mental and other health benefits and resiliency. Help ensure a safe and pleasant park experience by remembering the following:
Practice social distancing and maintain physical distance at least 6 feet or more between you and others.
Wear a face covering when social distancing cannot be maintained.
Wash you hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use hand sanitizer.
Cover you mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
If you feel sick, please visit another day.
It is almost always sunny and hot in the park, so bring plenty of water, a hat and sunscreen
Prevent fires by properly extinguishing cigarettes (smoking is not allowed along park trails)
Watch your step and stay on trails
Report any accident or violation of regulations to a park ranger
In case of an emergency, call 911
