There are several restaurants, a deli and roadside eateries located at Kawaihae (1 mile north of the Park)

Waimea (15 miles east) and the Waikoloa Resorts (15 miles south) have both upscale and fast food restaurants.

Did You Know?
The best time to see the black tipped reef sharks at Pu'ukohola Heiau National Historic Site is usually just after sunrise. On good days, you may see close to 20 sharks swimming in area just a couple hundred feet from the shore!
