August 17-18, 2013 The public is invited to experience a variety of cultural activities, including cultural demonstrations, traditional crafts, music, games, double-hulled canoe rides, traditional food tasting and many more activities. More information will be available closer to the event date.

The best time to see the black tipped reef sharks at Pu'ukohola Heiau National Historic Site is usually just after sunrise. On good days, you may see close to 20 sharks swimming in area just a couple hundred feet from the shore!
