$500,000 Lott Park: The project calls for converting existing facilities to other uses to maximize recreational opportunities. The inadequate basketball half court will be converted to a sheltered picnic and gathering area and convert the fountain/wading pool to a controlled activation water play area constructed at grade. A new full sized basketball court will be constructed and a wall will be refurbished to provide seating. The project also calls for landscaping, park furniture and sidewalks

$200,000 McClean Park and Roberts Park: The City proposes to improve and renovate two inner-city neighborhood parks. The project will replace old, unsafe wooden playground equipment with new state-of-the art play structures. Renovation includes the demolition and removal of the unsafe playground equipment, excavation and grading, and the installation of a drainage system and catch basin. The project will replace the old-style sand and gravel safety surface material and the old wooden playground equipment with new ADA accessible play structure systems. The project includes the installation of accessible sidewalks, a drinking fountain and landscaping at each park. A wading pool at Roberts Park will be converted to a water playground.

$249,240 The City proposes the use of UPARR funds to improve and renovate four inner-city neighborhood parks. Jaycee, West, Citrus and Apollo parks will replace unsafe, outmoded playground and play surfacing with contemporary play structures. They will install landscaping and benches at each park. Renovations will include 1 park shelter, 2 baseball field backstops, and a Recreation Center.

$422,515 Gallegos Park:. This proposal comprises rehabilitating the park pool, senior/recreation center, and the park grounds and facilities. Renovations include mechanical/electrical/plumbing/roofing refits, replacing the air conditioning in the center, replacing unsafe playground equipment, and installing new restrooms and ball field/court lights. All these facilities will be made ADA accessible.

$500,000 Seven City Playgrounds: The City of Fort Worth Parks and Community Services Department proposes to renovate seven central-city neighborhood playgrounds and replace old, unsafe wooden playground equipment with new state-of-the art play structures. Renovation includes the demolition and removal of the unsafe playground equipment, excavation and grading, and the installation of a drainage system and catch basin. The project will replace the old-style sand and gravel safety surface material and the 20-year-old wooden playground equipment with new 3,500 sq. ft. ADA accessible play structure systems. The project includes the installation of accessible ramps, benches, a picnic station and landscaping at each park.

$450,800 Swiney Park Rehabilitation: The city to renovate portions of the recreation center, multi-use park pavilion and the playground. Renovation includes updating plumbing and air conditioning, patching holes and painting, rehabilitating the outdoor restrooms, replacing the playground fall surface and some equipment, and addressing security and ADA concerns.
McAllen

$210,400 This project seeks to develop a 2.07 acre parcel of land, acquired through private donation, into a small neighborhood park. Plans include rehabilitation of the building into a neighborhood recreation center for use by neighborhood residents. The recreation center will also host After School programs, Summer Recreation Programs and scouting activities. Rehabilitation will address interior and exterior ADA accessibility requirements and include a complete re-model of the facility, replacing plumbing, wiring, lights, doors and windows. Repairs will be made to the concrete foundation, roof and siding. The project includes installation of kitchen fixtures and a heating and air conditioning system.
San Antonio

$499,978 Lincoln Park Pool and Playground Rehabilitation: This project will assist the city renovate portions of the Lincoln Park swimming pool and playground. Renovation will include repairing structural problems, replacing the mechanical infrastructure and demolishing and rebuilding the bathhouse. This project will also enable the city to replace playground surfacing and playground equipment that was removed for safety reasons. Both elements of this proposal will address safety and ADA accessibility.
