$182,000 Kennedy Memorial Park: The comfort station in this Frederic Law Olmsted park, is located in a neighborhood with the highest poverty in the city. The 90-year old information/comfort station will be reopened with restored and accessible restrooms, information counters and interior space for interpretive /education programs.

$77,525 Coolidge Park: An irrigation system for the softball and soccer fields will be added to this park which serves hundreds of low-income housing units and is worn from age and use.

$154,700 Trum Park Tot Lot: Closed for two years and located next to a railroad track, this is only site within walking distance of 2,600 residents. Obsolete and unsafe play equipment and safety surfaces will be replaced, along with paving and security fencing.

$252,000 Emerson Wight Playground, the only neighborhood park serving the South End neighborhood and Calhoun Park one of two neighborhood parks serving the Memorial Square neighborhood will be renovated including children's play areas basketball and handball courts. In addition new park furniture will be installed and site drainage improved at both locations.
