City Mayor Grant Amount Projects

Monroe Mayor Melvin Rambin (318-329-2310) $489,793.50 The Harvey Benoit Recreation Center: The largest and second oldest neighborhood center in the city will be rehabilitated including roof and restroom repairs, new playground equipment and tennis courts, fencing and landscaping.

New Orleans Mayor Marc Morial (504-565-6440) $437,500 Five severely deteriorated playground sites will be renovated (Wisner, Soraparu, Lemann II, Ruffignac and F. P. Jackson Playgrounds). New playground equipment, landscaping fencing, water fountains, etc., will be provided.
