City Mayor Grant Amount Projects
Dade County Mayor Alex Penelas (Miami-Dade Co) (305-375-5071) $500,000 Martin Luther King Park: The existing recreation center within the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Park will be replaced. It is severely deteriorated, has structural deficiencies and is inadequate for community recreation needs. The open air center will be replaced with a new 5,200 square foot building in the same location.
Jacksonville Mayor John Delaney (904-630-3535) $500,000 Emmett Reed Park: UPARR funds will be used to replace the ball fields and basketball courts with 9 tennis courts at Emmett Reed Park, a 12.5 acre park located in the core of the city.

$155,767.50 Washington Park: The restrooms at the Washington Park Recreation Complex, located in a predominantly minority and low income section of the city, will rehabilitated and ADA access provided.
Tampa Mayor Dick A. Greco (813-274-8251) $440,770 Martin Luther King, Jr. Pool Bathhouse: UPARR funds will be used to replace the bathhouse at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Pool Bathhouse located near West Tampa and Tampa Heights. The bathhouse/shower/locker facilities are very deteriorated and are not ADA accessible.
