Volunteer: Field Seminars Assistant

Overview
Point Reyes National Seashore Association (PRNSA) offers Field Seminars, led by experts in their field, which deepen a participant’s connection to nature and strengthening understanding of the environment. This volunteer position will aid the Field Seminars program by purging back-files and streamlining office procedures and reporting.

Duties

  • Sort through old files and enter relevant data into an Excel spreadsheet

Knowledge/Skills/Experience Desired

  • Basic PC familiarity.

Special Requirements of the Position
Ability to sit at a computer, use a keyboard, lift and sort files.

Schedule and Time Commitment
20 hours total; specific work times at volunteer’s discretion.

Benefits to the Volunteer
Volunteer will be awarded one free Field Seminar *excluding kayaking and boat trips* for every ten hours worked.

Minimum Age
Minimum age is 18.

Accommodations
Housing and RV sites are not available.
