2013 Harbor Seal Pupping Season Closures
From March 1 through June 30, the park implements closures of certain Tomales Bay beaches and Drakes Estero to water-based recreation to protect harbor seals during the pupping season. Please avoid disturbing seals to ensure a successful pupping season. More »
Red Barn Art Exhibitions: "In and Around the Point Reyes National Seashore"
"In and Around the Point Reyes National Seashore" Artist Carol Branan's oil paintings of scenes in the Point Reyes area were on display in the Red Barn Classroom weekdays from Monday, April 11, 2011, through Thursday, June 30, 2011. There was also an artist's reception at the Red Barn Classroom on Sunday, April 10, 2011. Visit the Red Barn Art Exhibitions section of our Indoor Activities page to find out what is currently on display. The Red Barn Classroom gallery is open by appointment only, Mondays through Fridays, 9 am to 4 pm.
