Photography Exhibition: "Cordell Bank National Marine Sanctuary a National Treasure, a Local Jewel"

Cordell Bank is an offshore underwater oasis that thrives with ocean species above and below the surface. Its biological wealth earned federal protection as a National Marine Sanctuary in 1989. Since it's so difficult to visit, come visit it in this photo exhibit, where we bring it to you. Photographs will be on display (by appointment only) in the Red Barn Classroom from Wednesday, January 8 through Tuesday, June 3, 2014.

Please contact Carola DeRooy at 415-464-5125 or by email or Annalisa Price at 415-663-1200 x309 or by email to schedule an appointment or for more information.

Join NOAA's Cordell Bank National Marine Sanctuary Staff on Saturday, May 10, to celebrate 25 years of protecting this unique, offshore, underwater jewel off the coast of Point Reyes.

To get to the Red Barn Classroom, follow the directions to Point Reyes National Seashore. As you proceed up the driveway toward the Bear Valley Visitor Center, turn left at the sign for the Red Barn Classroom.
