Camping Reservation FAX Information
 

Reservations for camping are accepted up to 3 months in advance.

  • Faxes received before 9 a.m. Pacific Time on the day 3 months in advance will not be accepted.
  • Faxes received on weekends or after 2 p.m. Pacific Time on weekdays will not likely be processed until after 2 p.m. Pacific Time on the following weekday.
  • Faxes received before 9 a.m. Pacific Time on weekdays will not likely be processed until 2 p.m. Pacific Time that day. 

Faxed reservation requests will be processed in the order received. Please note that the fax machine is not located in the same room as the reservation desk, and while park staff attempt to retrieve and process faxes as soon as they are received, there are times when there may be a delay in retrieval and processing.

Call 415-464-5100 or visit the park's campgrounds web page for trail mileage and general information. Availability of campsites may be checked by calling the campground reservation line at 415-663-8054.

Weekend nights and group sites (for 7-25 people) fill quickly; plan accordingly. Faxed in reservations, if available, will be confirmed by phone within 48 hours. You will receive written confirmation of a reservation within 10 days. You may also call the campground reservation line at 415-663-8054 to confirm the status of your reservation. If the dates and/or campgrounds requested are not available, no reservation will be made.

Fees for camping:

  • Individual site (1-6 people): $15/night
  • Small group site (7-14 people): $30/night
  • Large group site (15-25 people): $40/night

Groups may not split up into multiple individual sites within the same campground.
