Body Found Alongside Sir Francis Drake Highway

On June 6, 2013, at about 9:45 am, a body was discovered in Point Reyes National Seashore near Sir Francis Drake Boulevard in the area of the Platform Bridge Road. The body appears to be a female in her late 20s or early 30s. The National Park Service has asked the Marin County Sheriff’s Office to lead the investigation into the cause of death. Marin County Sheriff’s Office Investigators and National Park Service Rangers will work together during this investigation.
