Superintendent Don Neubacher announced today that Limantour Road will be closed on Tuesday, March 18, 1997 from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. This closure is needed to allow PG&E road crews to trench along the road and to complete the underground line work. During this closure, PG&E will remove 27 poles along the Muddy Hollow corridor via helicopter.

By removing the poles from the Muddy Hollow corridor, a portion of the backcountry of Point Reyes National Seashore will be free from the visual impacts of power poles.
