Point Reyes National Seashore staff will be performing cyclic road and parking lot maintenance at the Palomarin Trailhead at the southern end of the Seashore near Bolinas from Monday, March 30 through Friday, April 3. The Palomarin Trailhead parking lot will be closed during that time while it is graded and fresh road base aggregate is applied. The Coast Trail will remain open to the public during construction, with parking available along the shoulder of Mesa Road closest to the ocean. Restrooms will remain open.

Additionally, visitors with overnight camping permits that start prior to construction, but end during construction, are asked to park along Mesa Road or other trailhead parking lots. Signs will be placed at Palomarin on Friday, March 27 indicating the closure area.
