Sonoma State University in cooperation with staff from Point Reyes National Seashore, has just completed a year long study of visitors to the Seashore. The survey which began in March, 1997, was given to park visitors at various locations throughout the park to determine their demographics, why they came to the Seashore, what they did, how much money they spent, and where they spent it.

A summary of the data compiled on park visitors over the one year period will be presented by Don Neubacher and John Dell’Osso at the July meeting of the West Marin Chamber of Commerce.
