Planning, Environment and Public Comment (PEPC)

The National Park Service prepares a variety of planning and environmental documents to help guide it in managing park resources. These documents can range from site-specific impact analyses on facility locations to broader park-wide plans for future use and management of a park.

The North Country National Scenic Trail stretches from North Dakota to New York, a distance of 3,200 miles.

The North Country National Scenic Trail connects outstanding scenic, natural, and cultural sites in seven northern states from Crown Point, New York, to Lake Sakakawea in North Dakota.
