From under a canopy of stars, become a nocturnal Pinnacles hiker with Volunteer Ranger Peter Szydlowski on this easy, two-mile hike on the level Bench and South Wilderness trails. This evening journey offers the unique opportunity to reconnect to natural darkness on this dark sky hike. Become attentive to your night vision and join the natural quiet

and stillness of Pinnacles National Park.

Duration of hike: 90 minutes. Overcast sky will cancel hike.

Meet at the High Peaks Picnic Area at 8:30 pm with layered clothing, sturdy boots, water, small flashlights with red lens (we will providered-lenses if needed).This hike is limited to 25 people and reservations are required. Sign up at the Pinnacles Visitor Center deskduring open hours, 9:30 am to 5 pm or call 831-389-4485. Groups of less than 6and children over 5 years old are preferred.
