If you would like to contribute to the education programs offered at the park consider joining The Friends of Perry's Victory and International Peace Memorial (The Perry Group). The Perry Group is an organization established to support programs at Perry's Victory and International Peace Memorial. 

Since 1989, the Perry Group has organized and promoted various activities such as visits from the US Brig Niagara (a replica of the winning flagship in the Battle of Lake Erie) which was available for tours and lectures. Other events have included sponsorship of the annual Toledo Orchestra for Historic Weekend, the Junior Ranger Jamboree, the Mayfly Festival, the Naturalization Ceremony and many other events and programs.

Six officers killed in the Battle of Lake Erie, September 10, 1813 were re-interred in Perry's Victory and International Peace Memorial on September 11, 1913. American officers, John Brooks, Henry Laub, and John Clark. British officers, Robert Finnis, John Garland, and James Garden.
