    The Memorial & Visitor Center are now open Friday to Monday till November 2, 2014. On Fridays and Mondays check at the Visitor Center for personal tours of Memorial. Hours are 10 am to 5 pm. More »

    The last day of the 2014 season for the Memorial and Visitor Center will be open on Sunday, November 2, 2014. Hours are 10am to 5pm.

If you would like to contribute to the education programs offered at the park consider joining The Friends of Perry's Victory and International Peace Memorial (The Perry Group). The Perry Group is an organization established to support programs at Perry's Victory and International Peace Memorial.

Since 1989, the Perry Group has organized and promoted various activities such as visits from the US Brig Niagara (a replica of the winning flagship in the Battle of Lake Erie) which was available for tours and lectures. Other events have included sponsorship of the annual Toledo Orchestra for Historic Weekend, the Junior Ranger Jamboree, the Mayfly Festival, the Naturalization Ceremony and many other events and programs.

Fort Malden NHS, Amherstburg Ontario Canada

With the Amherstburg blockade by Oliver Hazard Perry, British commander Robert Barclay's supply line was cut. He needed food and equipment for his new flag ship the Detroit. By September 9, 1813 he was down to a day’s ration. So he removed the cannons from Fort Malden and placed them on the Detroit.
