May 18 Concert Cancellation
Due to rainy weather, the May 18 concert scheduled at the General Grant's Headquarters Unit in Hopewell has been postponed. "Johnny Jones and Friends" will perform at a later date once one has been agreed upon. Thank you.
Fee Information

Most bona fide educational institutions are admitted free of charge when visiting the park for educational purposes. A written request for a fee waiver must be filed with the park two weeks before your visit. This written request must include: 1. Documentation of group's educational status. 2. Statement of purpose for visiting the park. This must relate to the park's resources. 3. Name of school or group, contact person, phone number, date, time of arrival, number of students and adults. Did You Know?
A pair of bald eagles built a nest above Colquitt's Salient at Petersburg National Battlefield in 2003. The birds hatched the first known eaglets in the park in the spring of 2004. The pair continues to return to the nest year after year to nurture their young.
