Sandbox Archeology: Children will excavate artifacts from a sandbox that reflect the rich human history of the park. This activity is led by a park ranger; great for kids and families; accessible. There is no fee for this activity. Saturdays in March. Enjoy any time between 10am-12pm at the Painted Desert Visitor Center.
