Junior Ranger Days Begin at Petrified Forest National Park

Petrified Forest—Visitors to the park can earn a special Junior Ranger badge and patch by participating in a variety of fun and educational activities on Saturdays this summer.

Saturday, May 29th, kicks off this exciting program by inviting Junior Rangers to hike the trail at the beautiful Blue Mesa. Stop in at one of the visitor centers to get your Blue Mesa Explorer guide then hit the trail! Special activities for future Junior Ranger Days will be announced on the park website as they are offered.
