Artist Statement

I am dedicated to regional landscape painting in the Central Valley of California. In this land I find inspiration, content and spirituality for painting and for life. I believe the landscape more than any other signifier reflects the soul of place by revealing the path of human impact upon it’s surface. It’s this process of discovering and revealing the layers of our environment that sparks my interest.
