Family Night with the National Parks at the Holbrook Public Library

Petrified Forest, AZ – From sea to shining sea, America’s National Parks maintain unspoiled beauty and cultural wonders. Come learn about your American heritage with the help of Petrified Forest National Park rangers on April 24, 7:00 p.m. at the Holbrook Public Library. Admission is free and the public is invited to attend.

This family event is in celebration of National Park Week from April 19-26. National Park Week is an annual, presidentially proclaimed week for celebration and recognition of all units administered by the National Park Service. Your National Parks are living examples of the best this nation has to offer - magnificent natural landscapes and varied yet interrelated heritage. Parks provide recreational experiences, opportunities to learn and grow, and places of quiet refuge.

Visit www.nps.gov/pefo for information on ranger-led programs, Science and Education Learning Center Lectures, Junior Ranger activities, cultural demonstrations, Artists-in-Residence, curriculum-based education programs, and more.
