The Partnership Case Study form may be completed on-line and saved to your local disk, or saved to your local disk and then completed off-line.

Intended Audience

NPS employees and partners (government, non-profit and for-profit).

Criteria

The NPS Partnerships Website staff will review all partnership case studies and post those that best represent the following criteria:

• Inspiring, informative and with applicability across the system.
• Reflect range/breadth of parks and programs; different regions; large/small parks; urban/rural setting; natural/cultural/recreation resources; range of partnerships; important aspects of partnerships.
• Success stories that illustrate how the NPS looks at partnerships and what are "successful" partnerships.
• Highlight best management practices, tools, skills and competencies.

Format

• Electronic or printed forms.
• Images of your partnership in action (digital or print).

Writing Tips

• Be concise, but be sure there is enough information for the reader/researcher to convey the whole story.
• Complete as many of the sections on the form as possible.
• The case study will be reviewed and some may be edited for grammar and consistency prior to posting.
• Consider that your case study will be read by many and phrase your narrative accordingly.
• List the preparer, date and phone contact so that the editors can call to verify or request additional information.

Saving and Submitting Form

To save a blank or completed form to your local disc select File from the browser menu, and Save As from the drop-down menu. Save the form in your local directory of choice.
