NPF And Macy's Announce Partnership To Support Parks

The National Park Foundation and Macy's recently announced a new partnership to educate, raise awareness, and generate funds to support our parks. On April 20th, Macy's stores nationwide launched their "Turn Over a New Leaf" promotion demonstrating their support for the environment and encouraging their customers to do the same. The partnership includes support for an electronic field trip broadcast from Everglades National Park, a junior ranger essay contest, production of a "Kid Power" coloring book, and a "One Good Turn" National Charity Days shopping event to benefit the National Park Foundation.

The National Park Foundation is the first organization in Macy's history to be chosen as the sole beneficiary of a national shopping promotion. It's also the first time in history that the shopping promotion has lasted two days. On Saturday, April 26th, and Sunday, April 27th, Macy's will be encouraging customers in its more than 850 stores nationwide and online at Macys.com to make a $5 donation to support the National Park Foundation. In return, Macy's will give the customer a special pass good for 20% off most apparel and 10% off furniture. Shopping passes are also available through the National Park Foundation website and at Macy's in the stores and on-line.
