CAPE LOOKOUT NATIONAL SEASHORE

Seeing the water on either side of the island and the Cape Lookout Lighthouse centered in the distance demonstrates the long narrow layout to Cape Lookout National Seashore. The National Seashore is a thin ribbon of sand spanning 56 miles from end to end, but rarely more than 100 yards in width.
