Grand Canyon-Parashant National Monument is Open

The monument is open every day of the year.

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICES:

  • Within the boundaries of Grand Canyon-Parashant there are no facilities or visitor contact stations.
  • Do not rely on your cellphone - there is no cell service on the monument.
  • Roads can be impassable during the monsoon season, July through September, and after winter storms.

This federal interagency office is staffed by employees from the National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, U.S National Forest Service, and by dedicated volunteers from the local community. Phones are answered Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The visitor center is closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and all federal holidays.
