Operating Hours & Seasons

The Monument is open 24 hours a day 365 days of the year, but there are no facilities or visitor contact areas within the boundaries. For information visit or call:

Interagency Information Center - 345 East Riverside Drive, St. George, UT 

  • Monday thru Friday - 7:45 am to 5:00 pm
  • Saturday - 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
  • Closed all Federal Holidays except Memorial Day and Labor Day

Pipe Spring National Monument Visitor Center - 15 miles west of Fredonia, AZ on State Highway 389

  • Summer - Daily 7:00 am to 5:00 pm (May thru September)
  • Winter - Daily 7:00 am to 5:00 pm (October thru April)
  • Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.

Note: Monument roads are often impassable during the monsoon season, July through September and after winter storms. Visit the Interagency Information Center or Pipe Springs National Monument to obtain road condition information and a Monument brochure.
