Program Scheduling and Contact Information
There is no cost for park educational offerings. Because the demand for these activities is high, however, all on-site and classroom programs must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance. All programs are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Classroom programs are designed to accommodate up to 30 students and generally take one hour to complete. These programs can be modified to fit into shorter class periods. Pre-visit materials are provided. At this time, the availability of programs on the Palo Alto site is often dependent on weather conditions. Following periods of heavy rain, the field may become inaccessible for an extended period of time. For more information or to schedule a program, please contact Karen Weaver at (956) 541-2785, ext. 332 or by email.

Visitor Center Programs and On-Site Programs
As Palo Alto Battlefield National Historical Park continues to acquire property and develop its facilities, the park encourages school and educational groups to experience programs at the park's interim visitor center and exhibit area in Brownsville, Texas or on the battlefield. Opportunities at both venues will increase as the park continues to move toward full operations.
