The National Park Service makes every effort to keep the public informed about news events, accomplishments, employee recognitions, special and re-occurring events which occur within and around the units of the Park Service.

Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument publishes The Pitahaya park newspaper which provides visit planning information and contains articles on various resource-related topics.

Organ Pipe provides news releases to local and regional newspapers; current and past news releases can also be found here on the park web site.

Coyotes are highly intelligent animals that are well adapted to survive in almost any environment. They are among the most common animals spotted in Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument and you might hear them "singing" on any given night.
