Geologic Activity
This seismic station was installed May, 7th 2007 Over the past year 1520 earthquakes have been detected by a very sensitive seismic data collecting station located in Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. This station is one of 2000 stations that have been placed all over the United States as part of the National Science Foundation’s EarthScope initiative.
