Saturday, September 12th 11am - 5 pm

Discover the natural wonders in Oregon and northern California. The National Parks Family Day takes place Saturday, September 12 from 11 am to 5 pm at the ScienceWorks Hands-On Museum at 1500 East Main Street in Ashland, Oregon. Admission is free. There are plenty of kid's activities, prizes, and wild animals. You and your family can even meet Clifford the Dog.

Join fellow national park enthusiasts for a day of fun and exciting activities promoting parks and the outdoors. You will also have several chances to preview select highlights from Ken Burns' upcoming documentary series, The National Parks: America's Best Idea, set to premiere on SOPTV beginning September 27. Representatives from the National Parks Conservation Association, SOPTV, and the National Parks Service will discuss the film and national parks following the preview.

Please help us make America's Best Idea even better. Join us for a national day of service and celebration in your 391 national parks.
