  • Road Work, Expect Delays

    ODOT will be preparing highway 46 for asphalt patching. Please use caution when traveling between the monument and Grayback Campground. Various work will be from continue until July 31, 2014.

  • Watch for Wildlife

    Please be on the lookout for fawns on the section of Caves Highway around Caves Campground! There is at least one very young one that is using the pavement as his transportation corridor.

Oregon Caves National Monument will extend its hours beginning May 29th, offering cave tours from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Candlelight tours will also be offered on Friday and Saturday evenings at 6:30 p.m. and like other tours, will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Oregon Caves offers a physically and mentally challenging off-trail cave tour where you learn caving techniques, etiquette, and conservation while slithering through concealed parts of the caves. Reservations are required and is a tour only offered during the summer months. More...
