Olympic Hot Springs Road Closed
The Elwha Valley's Olympic Hot Springs Road is closed to public entry beyond the Altair Campground during removal of the Glines Canyon Dam. Olympic Hot Springs is not accessible from the Elwha.

Elwha River Closures
Boating is prohibited on the Elwha River from Upper Lake Mills Trail downstream to the Highway 112 bridge, except for the stretch between Altair Campground and the Highway 101 bridge.

Hurricane Ridge Visitor Center
The Hurricane Ridge Visitor Center, located at elevation 5,242 feet at the top of Hurricane Ridge Road, is open daily, weather permitting, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. NPS Hurricane Ridge Visitor Center Snack Bar and Ski Shop The snack bar and ski shop will also operate on holiday weekends for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (Monday, January 17) and Washington’s Birthday (Monday, February 21) and during the holiday period from Sunday, December 26 through Sunday, January 2. |
