Olympic Hot Springs Road Closed
The Elwha Valley's Olympic Hot Springs Road is closed to public entry beyond the Altair Campground during removal of the Glines Canyon Dam. Olympic Hot Springs is not accessible from the Elwha.

The Freeing the Elwha Curriculum, developed by a team of Interpretive Park Rangers at Olympic National Park, will help you teach your class about Elwha River Restoration through science, social studies, creative response and mathematics. You can download individual lesson plans and print them out, download the lesson plan overview or request a full CD by contacting the Education Specialist.
