Nomination Documents for Current U.S. World Heritage Sites |
| The documents here were submitted to the World Heritage Committee and formed the basis for the inscription of each site on the World Heritage List. PLEASE NOTE, however: many of these documents were prepared as long as 30 years ago, and the documentation requirements for World Heritage nominations have evolved considerably since then. Today, the expectations for nomination dossiers are much higher and the requirements are much more specific. These documents should not be viewed as examples of how a nomination would look today.
