Carpooling and Vanpooling is encouraged and welcomed at the Obed Wild and Scenic River.  However, there are no carpools or vanpools provided by the staff of the park to any destination within the park.  Nevertheless, several local paddling enthusiasts are often available to run shuttles.  Please stop by the Obed Visitor Center at 208 North Maiden Street in downtown Wartburg, or call 423-346-6294, to obtain information on possible shuttles.
