WARTBURG, Tennessee:Come to the Obed Wild and Scenic River Visitor Center, on September 22, 2012 starting at noon, for a look back into the traditions of the Native American People of the East Tennessee area. The Obed Wild and Scenic River has invited Standing Oak and Sparrow Hawk to come out and show us how the ways of life for the Native American Peoples have changed over the years.During the talk and demonstration, everyone will have the opportunity to come and enjoy an in-depth presentation on Native American day-to-day life.

Did you know that rock climbers can test their skills at the Obed? Climbing routes range from 40 to 200 feet in length, with degrees of difficulty that range from 5.7 to 5.13.
