WARTBURG, Tennessee: Bring your family and friends and celebrate the National Park Service’s 98th birthday at the Obed Wild and Scenic River. One night of free camping at the Rock Creek Campground has been authorized for Monday, August 25. Rock Creek Campground offers a unique camping experience right on the banks of the Obed Wild and Scenic River. There are 11 campsites with grills, picnic tables, and lantern hooks as well as accessible vault toilets. The National Park Service has grown to over 84 million acres in every state, the District of Columbia, American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.
