Fee-Free Camping on Veterans Day

WARTBURG, Tennessee:The Obed Wild and Scenic River will be having a weekend of fee-free camping at the Rock Creek Campground from November 10th through the 12th.This special weekend is held in honor of Veterans Day, which will be observed nationally on November 12th.Veteran's Day honors our nation's veterans and the Obed Wild and Scenic River is proud of their courage and sacrifice.In a park known for its recreation, the Obed reminds all campers to mark "Fee-free" on their campsite envelopes during November 10th through the 12th.The Rock Creek Campground is adjacent to the Nemo Bridge off of Catoosa Road, and just across the river from the Nemo Picnic Area.
