Join us on Friday evening, August 31st, for a unique adventure. Back by popular demand, we'll be conducting another Owl Prowl! Learn about the habits and mannerisms of the Eastern Screech Owl and the Barred Owl (two of the most popular owls in eastern Tennessee). Learn how to distinguish between their very different and unique calls. Hike out with us as we try to lure these owls close to us with recorded owl sounds. Meet us at the Lilly Bluff Overlook Parking Lot (just off of Ridge Road) at 9:00 p.m. (Eastern time). From there, we will walk out to the overlook and back as we attempt to sight these owls. No reservations are necessary for this free program, which should conclude by 10 p.m. Please bring a flashlight and wear sturdy shoes.

For more information, please call the park at 423-346-6294.
