Guided Tours

Each of the 10 parks that make up the National Parks of New York Harbor have regular ranger-led tours that introduce visitors to the site. Please visit the individual park pages to learn about these tours.

In addition, several of the parks have walking tours --either seasonally or year-round.

African Burial Ground National Monument offers "Exploring the African Presence in Early New York." This free tour is by reservation only and is offered at 10 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays and Sundays.

Governors Island National Monument offers two walking tours.

  • The Historic District tour on Wednesdays & Thursdays at 10am and 1pm
  • Introduction to Governors Island on Friday, Saturday, Sunday at 10:25am, 12:25pm and 2:25pm

Federal Hall will be launching a new "Revolutionary New York" tour in August.

"The New Amsterdam Trail" visits two National Park in Lower Manhattan.
