David Warren

David is the “data guy” on the NPMap team. He primarily focuses on database development, data services and customer support. He works closely with NPMap’s partners to develop and support spatial databases that are leveraged by NPMap.
David moved to Colorado after receiving a B.S. in Meteorology at the University of South Alabama, and joined the NPS team as a Research Associate at Colorado State University.
David enjoys playing tennis and softball whenever he has the opportunity. He also loves barbeque, and loves to spend his time smoking pork shoulders and brisket. He has a new favorite hobby, however: spending time with his new daughter, Lily.
